Do you drink Irish Whiskey neat or on the rocks?!

Question:

Do you drink Irish Whiskey neat or on the rocks?

Answers:
Neat.

i dont like spinning my drinks that much and also shots go down easy and give you that nice warm feeling right down your throat.

its an acquired taste. try both out and see.

Either. Just depends on if you want it warm, or cold.

rocks Powers Gold

how bout not at all?

kind of depends on the whiskey, but I generally prefer it neat. It is perfectly acceptable to add a small amount of cool water as well, and for some of the higher proof, single barrel stuff, that's actually the preferred way to drink it. It releases some of the flavors and gives the drink better nose.

jamesons on the rocks with a twist for me and neat for my friend. it's the only whiskey i'll drink. it bring out different flavors when it's warmer.

On the rocks... JAMESON please!

Neither ....
as Irish Coffee
****************
*** hot coffee in a heatproof glass
*** 2 or 3 spoons of whiskey
*** little sugar, if you wish
stir
*** carefully pour on top some cold heavy cream .... do not jiggle it
*** serve it

* from that point on for a nice while, be careful of yourself and your friends .... especially if you use sugar in your drink ... no driving ..

Cheers!

neat, i can't be arsed to get the ice out the frezzer lol

Make mine neat, please.

Neat. Sometimes with cool water to enhance the flavor.

from the bottle...

Jameson 1780 in a tall glass, Double Measure and three lumps of Ice, Ashtray, Cigarette and remote control. Perfect!

Depends on the grade of the whiskey. Something like Middletons or Jameson Gold, will definately be neat, but a lower grade deserves a cube or two on the first drink to smooth it out a little.
