you get both in scotland, stick with magners bulmers is a bit too sweet

Bulmers Original Irish Cider is a cider produced in Ireland. To prevent confusion with the original English cider of the same name it is sold outside of the Republic of Ireland as Magners.
The label is identical to Bulmers and even the name has the same number of letters ending in "ers". More importantly the product inside the bottle is identical to Irish Bulmers.

Drinking cider over ice mirrors the move towards chilled and "extra-cold" beers.

thats because over hear in england there is another cider company called bulmers. its based in hereford in the west of england. c&c (the company who makes Bulmers and magners cider in clonmel) Have had an agreement to use the Bulmers name in Ireland for some time

we have magners and bulmers, i dont think they are the same even though the adverts and packaging is quite similar.

We get Bulmers and Magners where i am in the NW i didnt know they were the same?

many years ago there were 2 brothers called bulmer who fell out one went to clonmel in ireland and opened a cider mill, the other stayed in hereford, near the english /welsh border, today the irish one is owned by cantrell & cochran and the english one by scottish & newcastle. the trade name bulmers cannot be used in the uk by anyone other than S&N. so C&C call it magners which i think is a small company long taken over by bulmers.

well that funny cos some one told me that magners and bulmers are the same but there not taste different and the uk already has a bulmers yet you can get bulmers in the uk aswell
