What Can You Mix With PATRON OR E&J or GREYGOOSE?
My birthday is coming up? Which one is good to drink all night with a mixture of juice or something?
Answers: Any Fruit Drink of your choice is always great with Grey Goose. The fresher the better.I mean cut some oranges and squeeze them yourself and enjoy all of the compliments you will be getting.Patron needs no help at all.It is one of the best Tequila Brands available as far as taste to me. Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Or any tropical fruit works well. I personally had Long Islands. Best bang for the buck if you like that sort of drink. cranberry juice is a good chaser or mixer for those drinks. and then drink some pomegranate the next morn to cure a hangover. My b-day was this past weekend...I had greygoose w/ cran + OJ all night long....I was on that "level", but not totally wasted because Grey Goose is just so smooth. I had about six drinks that night.
Some people may disagree, but Grey Goose w/ Red Bull tastes pretty good too. when I turned 21 I drank Madori Sours. That's what I would recommend, but if you insist on one of your 3 I would go with the grey goose- you can mix it with any kind of juice you want and you will still be able to remember some of the night. Tequila on the other hand, probably not a great choice for a special occassion. Hope it helps. But you should still just try a madori sour, you won't be sorry. You should never mix good liquor. If you want to mix vodka with juice, buy Smirnoff. If you want to mix tequila for margaritas by el toro. The mixes cover up the taste. If you are going to drink patron chill it, shoot it and follow with a slice of lime. If you are going to drink Greygoose, over ice with a twist of lemon or lime. PATRON is good by itself, but drinking it straight might result in you getting drunk way quicker than you would hope.
I would stick with Grey Goose and Lemonade... Very YummY! For the vodka, just mix it with OJ or cranberry juice or tonic.
For the tequila, if it is the blanco Patron, you can mix it with Squirt soda and a little bit of salt to make a paloma, with chambord, ginger ale and a lime wedge to make an el diablo or with agave nectar and fresh squeezed lime juice to make a top shelf margarita. The anejo Patron should never be mixed or chilled. You should pour it into a glass (champagne flutes work really well) and enjoy, no salt, no lime, no ice needed. Of course, I would advocate getting a better tequila than Patron- try Herradura or El Tesoro or Cielo. If you really want to go top shelf, El Tesoro has 2 ultra premium tequilas, Paradisio and Anniversario, which are incredible. I find that Greygoose is just too fine to mix with anything except my stomach. I keep a bottle in the freeze just that occasion. ;-)
