moet or lanson black label...
its about 20/25 pounds asda
but hey he is only fifty once.....worth every penny yes?
tell him happy birthday from me..

Go for it.

I think you will find you need to be over 18 to buy champagne because it contains alcohol

spend his age on champagne...thats what i would do...one 50 dollar bottle..cant go wrong..

Winston Churchill swore by Pol Roger! Which is dry but fragrant and fruity it will cost about £30 a bottle. If he is 50 try finding a bottle which has his 1957 vintage as the year it was produced that would be wonderful! But it would cost alot!

i wouldnt get champagne unless you are having a big celebration, i would get a smooth bottle of merlot, i like blackberry and you cant get merlot at a reasonable price starting around 10 or so dollars in the U.S.

The fizziest.

Champagne ending with the word Brut is very good, and about $35-$50 a bottle.

depends on your budget really, moet is reasonably priced but if you want to splash out then get him a bottle of bollinger.

schramsberg champagne is from the US and it has beat Dom perignon and several other champagnes in taste tests. It may be a little tricky to find in the UK but here is there website. I love the cremant it is sweet and wonderful their blanc de blanc is great too. but the uniqueness of it may make it a special gift. It is also the house champagne of the white house or was for years I am not sure if little George is allowed to have champagne but I am sure big Bill did.

Try to find Dom Perignon or a bottle of Cristal. I am sure they have it in the UK as it is extremely popular here in the US. Dom is about $200 a bottle and Cristal is about $300, Try online places. They could deliver it to him at home.

Good Luck and I hope he has a great birthday.

Hi to you too,

I'm 50 and my favourite sounding champagne is Moet & Chandon (because of Killer Queen).

I'm also into F1 and I'm pretty sure that they use Mumm.

Champagne is only called so because it comes from that region of France, it is sparkling white wine and several good wine producers from around the world seem to be cottoning on to the idea of selling sparkling wine.

My daughter tells me that the Moet looks better, so maybe there's the answer

some of the more popular and therefore somewhat easier to find brands of genuine Champagne are Moet & Chandon, Tattinger, and Veuve Cliquot. they can get pricey at times with prices ranging from 26 pounds for a standard 750 mL bottle to 75 pounds for a magnum on up depending on the vintage. You could go for some of the wines that are not produced in the Champagne region of France but are still high quality and more cost efficient.

get some tins of guinness, treat him , then a ride, cheap and easy ,no fuss.

Buy a nice pink champagne....cant beat it and its great for any occasion
