Someone who binges on alcohol

Someone who drinks a lot of alcohol in a short period of time.

Drinking on a binge but not everyday !!!
Had a friend who wouldn't touch alcohol for months then every now and then would binge and he would be drunk for days...then just stop and wouldn't drink for months again.
He died, This is not healthy for the heart. Because you keep shocking it !!!

someone who drinks a lot all at once

a person that will go on drinking sprees. someone who will drink continuously for a period of time.

someone that drinks alot in a relatively short time frame, doesn't drink for awhile or throws up! and then does it all over again

frat boys

One who downs drinks until they pass out or die, whichever case happens first.

My ex-husband was a binge drinker. He could go for months without drinking, but once he had a drink, he couldn't stop. He'd keep drinking usually until he either got arrested or passed out. Sometimes that took 2-3 days and I mean continuous days. Not drinking, going to sleep, waking up in the morning and starting all over. It was drinking, drinking, drinking, drinking. After the binge, he'd sleep for a day or so and when he awoke, he'd cry over all the damage he did or trouble he got into while drunk and then not have another drink for a few months until the whole cycle started all over again.

The act of binge drinking is someone taking in extreme amounts of alcohol in a short time. A binge drinker is someone who doesnt drink regularly or daily but whe he/she does, theyll be knock down, drag out drunk by the time they are done.

Someone who drinks to a total stupor. They load up on alcohol in a short period of time and consequently get trashed... they can have temporary blackouts and be completely impaired. Obviously, binge drinking can lead to alcohol poisoning which can kill.

Officially:

For men: 5 drinks or more in a row.
For women: 4 or more drinks in a row.

A person who drinks one drink after another just like a binge eater but this persons problem has to do with alcohol.

there are a couple of definitions of binge drinker- one kind is a person who drinks a lot in one sitting, and the other is defined as an individual who gets drunk daily for a certain period of time (a weekend, a month, etc).
The common thread is that they are both drinking with the objective of getting drunk. In both cases, the individual would be 'on a binge.'
Binge drinking has been getting a lot of attention in the media because it is common with young people and can lead to long term health problems, including alcoholism. The danger is that most binge drinkers do not consider themselves to be alcoholics, and seldom seek help.

pretty much somebody who doesn't drink normally, but then when they get the chance, they jump on it, and over do it..usually do it in front of a crowd. its worse for your liver than drinking everyday.

a binge drinker is any drinker that drinks a large amount of alcohol at a time....pretty much every college student is a binge drinker, because they dont drink all the time, but they go out on the weekends and get hammered...

I've been told that I'm a binge drinker. I can go for months totally sober, then I get a sudden urge to have a beer or something else and once I start, I can't stop. I'll drink till I either run out of money, or run out of booze or I pass out, which ever comes first. I'm also alcoholic.

The same as a binge eater....You drink everyday for just say a week, month etc. then just stop for a week, month etc.

5 drinks in a row for a man and 4 drinks in a row for a woman
