If a person passes out drunk, should you roll them on their back or on their stomach?!

Question:

If a person passes out drunk, should you roll them on their back or on their stomach?

.......so that they don't choke on their vomit, accidentally.

Answers: Definitely on their side. I'd say in the fetal position so they can't roll onto their back easily. Just make sure they're on a tile or linoleum floor so the barf can be cleaned up easier. I had a heck of a time getting out of my carpet after a wild party at my neighbor's house. (I didn't even know the guy who was passed out in my diningroom... just knew he was a Marine that my husband sort of knew.) Source(s):
Wild parties when I was younger.... WAY before having kids. You should roll them out of the house so that they don't vomit on your carpet accidentally. Google recovery position, too hard to describe but basically on their side! If you can, roll them on their side. Do not put them on their back, because if they do get sick, they could gag and choke to death. lol turg!

Yeah, stomach or side.

Your a good friend. Yes but make sure they can breathe through whatever material their face is on. onto their side with a pillow behind their back so they can't roll onto their back or on their stomach. I'd guess on their stomach with their head turned, BUT...real friends wouldn't let that person GET wasted enough to possibly die from aspirating on their own barf. on their stomachs. all those famous rockers that died choking on their vomit were left on their backs. i think you should roll them on their side.this will prevent them from choking or drowing in their vomit. you should roll them on their side. it would be easier access if they do need to vomit. or you could just throw a bucket full of icy water on them to make them fell better. I used to throw my crack head room mate into the tub so her head was elevated and she didnt make too much of a mess in my apartment. put them out side! Put them out on the lawn...
