Best wine for under $10???!

Question:

Best wine for under $10???

What are your favorite wines for under $10.00? I usually go for Ravenswood, Leaping Horse or Yellowtail. White wine is nauseating to me....

Any suggestions???

Answers: For really great bargains, that is, good wines for a low price, check out some chilean wine. Try Casillero del Diablo Carmenere by Concha y Toro ($10) or anything else from this line. Excellent wines. Or try Veramonte Cab or Merlot, they are great values.
Or if you want some Australian, go for Lindeman's blends like the Shiraz/ Cabernet or the Cab/Merlot. They are only a little more pricewise than Yellowtail, and they are much better quality.
For California wines try the Mirassou Pinot Noir, an excellent value, or Redwood Creek Pinot Noir. Affordable elegance.

Manage a wine store. (>-(>o_o)> Yellowtail.
It's yummy. Sutter Home I like Ravenswood, also. Or Luna di Luna is good too. Also, if you can find a bottle of Chateau St Michelle on sale..those are wonderful.
And yeah...I don't do white very often, either. reunity ,lambursgo .red wine. Here's a whole list for you. This is a chain of liquor stores in California. They have excellent information about all alcoholic drinks. If a wine is listed with a numeric rating, it means that 100 is the best. This list goes on for many pages.

PS Ravenswood cab, zin, and merlot are on the list. I would have to say Yellowtail. Look for a liquor store with a big wine selection. The workers should be able to help you find what you are looking for.

Mondavi Pinot Noir is always good. For a very inexpensive yet smooth red wine I always go for Stone Cellars by Berringer, Cabernet Savignon. $6.99 a bottle. I would have to say Sutter Home you wont wake up with a head ache in the morning. Over at Trader Joes, they have Charles Shaw wine for $2.99. It's really nice wine, and you can get 3 bottles for under $10.00
