Too hungover to drink?!

Question:

Too hungover to drink?

I feel hungover from last night, but would like to drink tonight as it is Friday and I would like to go out and I enjoy drinking. Other than the obvious "don't drink" advice (which I am considering for tonight), are there any ways to make drinking easier when you are feeling hungover? Or any ways to get rid of the hungover feeling?

Answers: Right mate, been there done that many times. Here's my preferred method, first off you might have left it too late, I always try and get a good greasy breakfast in early, eggs, bacon, sausages that kind of thing, topped of with at least 2 mugs of tea. You have to keep drinking liquids throughout the day, water (If you have to), coke or my personal fave Ribena (All the Brits will know that one). Then when you get out neck a few Bacardi and Cokes (Gets the tummy settled and displaces the blood in your alcohol system), after that your off to the races mate.

Have one for me and as we say back home tie one on. Source(s):
Too many hangovers to count. Ex Royal Navy Coffee and aspirin. Why not consider drinking an non alcoholic drink or have less alcohol in it. drink lots of water before you go out and have a light supper you'll feel better around the end of your second beer Drink another beer right now and let your body come down from that drunkenness Get some beer into your system and that will make your hangover go away. Just be sure to moderate your drinking or you will feel like crap the next day also. Drink a lot of water at the end of the night before you go to sleep. That will ease the hangover the next day. sleep, aspirin, lots of water. i would avoid coffee, it'll just dehydrate you and you may end up drunk quicker, then you will feel much more sick. Eat a good meal then just start up. You'll be ok. I would suggest not drinking what you were drinking last night if you're really hung over. Might make you sick a little. Just start out slow and before you know it you'll be back in the swing of things. Eat a few eggs (boiled, fried, raw, doesn't matter).

Eat a generous helping of sauerkraut (drink some of the juice too). You might even want to try cooking some "Hangover Soup": http://www.recipeland.com/recipe/11177/...

Wash it all down with a good quantity of Gatorade.
