Question:

Can anyone tell me how to make apple cider from scratch??

Gotta start from the apple itself, not juice.

Answers: 1st you need to wash the apples grind or chop into small peices if you have a press or a juicer use it to extract the juice from the ground up apples if you do not have a press put the apples into a clean pillowcase or muslin bag squeese the juice into a container.

If you want to make Hard cider dont worry about getting the juice out of hte apples just put apples into a clean plastic pail add just enough clean water to cover add 1 ne tablespoon of brewers yeast and let the apples ferment for ten days skim off the apple pulp and discard. juice will continue to ferment for about 3 weeks syphon off clear liquid after this and strain into bottles cork or drink as desired

always keep juce coverd with plastic cover to keep out the fruit flies and bugs Ingredients:

* 10-12 Rome Apples, cut into 1/8ths
* 1 Orange, shredded
* 1/2 lb clover honey
* 1/2 lb brown sugar
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* water to make 2 gallons
