What drinks are not "manly?"?
You don't see guys ordering Cosmopolitans or drinks like that a lot. What other drinks are not typically considered manly?
P.s. I know theoretically it doesn't matter, but I'm just curious
Answers: Anything with a little paper umbrella in it isn't manly. White wine spritzer-ditto. Pink Lady-girly-as-hell. Whiskey sour, or anything with cherries in it-sissy drink. Non-alcoholic 'drinks', for sure. In most instances, White Zinfandel is for girly-boys. Trendy drinks, like the Mojito or Long Island Iced Tea-are meant to make girls a little tipsy-not a guy drink, really.
Conversely, just about any drink ordered 'straight up' or 'neat' is prolly macho. The fewer non-alcoholic ingredients, the manlier the concoction.
Sometimes, its hard to step up, but not ordering 'sissy drinks' is the mark of a true gentleman. The kind who'll prolly get laid later instead of puking up bright pink bits of fruit all over his shoes.
So, it's important! Good question,man! Zima or any flavored beers Anything other than beer or hard liquor Shirley Temple with an umbrella? If you have the guts to order a 'Pink Lady', be ready to run! apple martinis, amaretto sour. margarita, sex on the beach Who cares? Drink what tastes good to you and stick up for yourself if anyone gives you a hard time about it! It would seem that a "manly" drink would be something like a gin and tonic, 7&7, JD... straight up, anything with whiskey, bourbon or scotch. Beer is considered manly, until you start going "light" or ask for a beer "cooler". Then you'll probably have your butt kicked big time. lol
Personally, I don't care what a man orders. As long as he drinks what he orders, he's okay in my book. And he'd better buy me a drink of some sort too... or I'll just have to kick his butt. lol

Hurricanes, I suppose, but they sure do kick your ***. Pink Lady Daquiris. whatever you're having Grasshopper (green creme de menthe + white creme de cacao + milk cream). I've ordered grasshoppers, cosmopolitans, and other "girly" drinks in rural biker bars and trucker bars, and I've gotten a few chuckles, but nobody gives a damn what another man orders if that's what he really likes. Alcohol is alcohol, and if you look like a hard drinker, they'll leave you alone. I usually order several beers and whiskeys as well anyway.
