Need new ideas for drinks?!

Question:

Need new ideas for drinks?

My husband and i are going to have a house warming party at our new house. We plan on playing darts, pool and cards. What are some good mixed drinks to make. I am not a big drinker, but we are looking for something new and different.
Thank you

Whenever we have thrown parties, we always have a "slushie" mixture for the mixed drink crowd. Rather than try to please everyone, and have to have many different kinds of liquor and mixers on hand, we have found this to be a huge hit. Purchase several kinds of your favorite frozen juice concentrate.(I prefer 100% juice--try grape, orange, papaya, cranberry, etc.), and some festive accessories like those cute umbrellas. In your blender, mix the frozen juice concentrate, vodka (or gin or rum--whatever you like), a little bit of water, and fill to the top with ice. VOILA....a frozen mixed drink that is customized anyway you like (use whatever juice and liquor you prefer). We always used to announce when we were switching types of drinks, as in, "Round one is over...come get your round two drink for a limited time only. Round two drink is ....". This is, of course, for casual parties, but sounds like yours will be pretty relaxed.

Have fun and congrats on the new house!

Beer, Wine, Coke, and Sierra Mist.

Screwdriver, shandy...

The best for me is vodka and cherry soda. you can make it on in a big bowl, and add some chibit. makes a lovely punch.

get some shooters, and apple sours. And make sure you have enough glasses, or let your cleaning lady stay late to wash as it goes.

Good luck and enjoy your new house

Here is a real whacky one, my 22 year old works in a bar in Spain and apparently all the rage is red wine and cola on ice. He calls it a Chica or something I tried it , it's not too bad but ppl would think ur strange.

Jager Bomb

Pour red bull into a pint glass. Drop in a shot glass filled with jagermeister, and chug.
YES, DROP THE WHOLE SHOT GLASS WITH JAGERMEISTER IN THE GLASS OF RED BULL.
TASTES GREAT!!!

Forget the sissy fruity drinks, Wild Turkey on the rocks is the way to go....

Try apple pie shots. It tastes really good. What you do is you get a chair (to sit in), apple juice, (absolute) vodka, and whipped cream. Have the person taking the shot sit in the chair, get a drink of apple juice, almost half a mouthfull, hold it in the mouth, lean the head back, have a different person pour almost half a mouthfull of the vodka, and another person put some whipped cream in to finish it. Have the person taking the shot sit up shake the head to mix up the shot in the mouth and then swallow. This is awesome. I hope you try it!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite drink is Madori Sour. Get some madori and master of mixes sweet n sour. Mix however strong you like it. Tastes great on the rocks.

there is a drink we invented at the bar I used to run called a "Vampire" it is Raspberry flavored Stoli Vodka, Cranberry juice, a dash of 7-up or sprite and a little peach juice or mango juice Peach juice is the vampire mango juice is the bride of Dracula.. It is refreshing easy to make and you can add the Cranberry and peach juices to taste. You garnish with a lime or cherries or if you want to splurge, get some Guava or mango slices for the drink. In a tall glass fill with ice then add based on taste, 1-1/12 ounces of Rasberry Stoli, 4-5 ounces of Cranberry juice, 1-2 ounces of 7-up and 1 ounce of Peach juice. Hope this helps it is like Kool-aid for adults...
It is also a registered drink so if you want to add this to a bar, make sure you use another name, lol

root beer, root beer schnapps and 151.

I have @ stomper fo you along the lines of liquid cocain
I call it a Kavorkian-1 part Dr. vanilicudy
1 part Jack Daniels
1 part Cuervo Tequila
dr. jack to kill ya get it If it's casual drinking then thin the mix with some soda. the jack draws a fruity favor from the tequila and you can sub the dr.v with the dr.s peppermint for spicier flavor

i always make champagne punch for parties and then have some random hard liquors and soda for those who like it hard.
1 bottle champagne
1 bottle gingerale
1 cup brandy
mix
if you want you can use a bunt pan to make an ice ring out of gingerale with strawberries in it.

so good

vodka and cranberry sierra mist, and everyone knows about captain and coke, instead of coke use rootbeer taste great.

Have a variety of drinks. Like have some wine, some beer, and those alcohol drink mixes. Also, Jell-O shots are usually a hit! You can get mixes to make margaritas, daiquiris, and all you will need is ice.

Congrats on your new home, and have a drink for me if you take these suggestions!

vegas blaster, damnation, 151 and dr.pepper, rum runner, hurricane

try out this - u need 1 part Vodka Blue cura?ao,Lemonade, dash of Grapefruit juice,1 Orange slice &1 Maraschino cherry

Make a B52 start with a shot glass and put 1/4 Kaluha then slowly pour 1/2 bailey's Irish creme and slowly put 1/4 Grand Mariner to top it off. The liquor stay's in levels and it tastes great. Good Luck with your new home!!!!

Cherry Three Olives Vodka with 7up is YUMMY!! Or buy a few different flavored Vodkas (Chocolate, Raspberry, Citrus, etc). You could go old school & make Jello Shots-they're always fun! Or you could have a Bloody Mary Bar...have different mixes (Spicy or Mild), then offer a few garnishes...celery, stuffed olives, limes, shrimp cocktail, cocktail onions, mushrooms, heck, anything is good in a Bloody Mary!

Ready to drink blue agave wine- tastes like a margarita, but it's wine. We buy two cases: one we put in the freezer, the other in the fridge. It's so easy to serve- no mixing. The ones we freeze, we serve straight out of the plastic bottle- they come out like a frozen margarita (like a slushy). The others we serve on the rocks. All you have to do is salt the rims! :) Easy, peasy!
