It would help instead of saying big and small, say stuff like 750mL which is a fifth. the normal bottle looks small is that only size? how many mL are in that?

All depends where you are! In the US, you can get 50ml, 200ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1l, 1.75l.

The usual bottle are 500ml (dont know what that is in pints/fifths etc) but you cna get 1L duty free ones.
Like most other liqours, Malibu comes in the tiny "airplane" bottles, the 750 ml bottles, and also in the fat 1.75L bottles. The one you most commonly see is the 750ml bottle.
175ml, 350ml, 750ml, 1litre and 1.75 litre the most common sold is the 1 litre, used in just about every bar in the country. the cost per ounce is cheapest in the 1.75 but the bottle is too big for bars, the 1 litre is the right size and cheaper per ounce than the 750ml.
