Distill esential oils with alcohol??!

Question:

Distill esential oils with alcohol??

If I will pour 60 liters of 60% ethanol content on 2 kilograms of dried hyssop will hold it for a week or more and than distill it. to 65-70% ethanol content alcohol will the essential oils which are included in hyssop get distilled??
If yes is 60 % ethanol content is enough to extract oil from grass??

Answers:
It is unlikely as the boiling point of the essential oil is far higher than the ethenol.
It may be better to add the hyssop to the final fraction of alcohol and allow it to remain for sometime while shaking it everyday. The longer you let it sit the more oil will be extracted into the final product. I would say at minimum three weeks to a month for best result. then use a very fine strain to remove the sediment .and use.
