Should our Canadian beer be sold in the classic stubby bottle?!

Question:

Should our Canadian beer be sold in the classic stubby bottle?

Since Canadian brewers switched to the longneck bottle in the mid-80s, something has been lost. I say we should go back to the stubbies. The stubby bottles just have more character.

Answers:
I absolutely agree with you on this one. Longneck bottles are for Texans.

No, because we would have to retool or buy all new beer fridges if in the bar or restaurant business...we have already had to do this once and would be very costly, especially to the small business person. But having said that, a beer remains much fresher in a dark bottle of any kind.
