Jager, any animal "parts"?!

Question:

Jager, any animal "parts"?

Okay, i've been thinking about something i was told a few months ago. Someone told me that Jager has deer blood in it [and that they kill the deer for it?]
True or false?

And sorry, i really didnt know what to put under "enter your question" .. because the question is so out there lol.

Anyways, the reason why i'm asking is because i dont eat [nor drink] anything that has a head .. i dont use any products tested on animals .. ect.

Jager is my fave. drink.
So im just wondering whats in Jager .. what is it all about?

Thanx everyone

Absolutely, completely, and 100% false.

Jagermeister is flavoured with herbs and botanicals. There's no deer blood in it at all, and it's vegetarian friendly.

they just call it deer blood b/c of the deer on the front~ it's not really in there silly

Yea, I don't think so. I doubt they could really sell a beverage that has deer parts/blood in it. I did hear that was used as a cough syrup in other countries.

oh no, thats not true. Its made with all sorts of stuff, (nothing bad) but not deer blood! whoever told you that has been drinking too much Jager, lol.
Even if it did, they would have to list it on the bottle, or at least say that it is not vegatarian.
You should make that person buy you a bottle after scaring you into not drinking it, he/she was probably thinking, "more for me" lol

Got to love the Jager! It does look and taste like it could come from such a bizarre source but no, definitely not. As said infused with herbs, spices etc.

Happy drinking.

And Jim Beam has moose antlers inside...
