What is the legal process of selling homebrewed beer in local stores?!

Question:

What is the legal process of selling homebrewed beer in local stores?

I would greatly appreciate someone with the proper advice to sell bottled homebrewed beer in a few local liquor stores, gas stations, etc.

Answers:
Generally, for commercial sales, home brewers don't produce adequate quantities to sell their wares cost effectively. Once you start selling legally, there are taxes, permits, code compliance, and all kinds of headaches. The best bet is to either get in with a local microbrewery, or even start your own (outside of home).
Here are the federal guidelines for breweries.

Don't forget, you'll also have local regulations you have to follow, too.

It's generally too big a pain in the rear to try and get through all that, just for a few gallons per batch...the return isn't worth the effort.

If you are in the UK, Dont, real arrest problem, If in the US, maybe the same problem with the Alcahol and drugs chappies?

I don't think you can.

First and foremost, you need to contact the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) and ask them (if a US Citizen in the US).

There are TAX issues (the primary problem) and then there are Health Inspections (a secondary problem) and maybe even other things I haven't even thought of.

You bet
No one here really has " LEGAL " advice " >>>.
NO way will you pass any FDA inspections.
Then NO way will you get ANY store to agree to sell it
Stick to the tried and true brew kits advice and instructions.
You can give it away BUT by god don't sell it....

There's a name for selling homebrew: BOOTLEGGING. Don't do it!! Give it away to your friend, but, for heaven's sake, DON'T SELL IT!
