300 people, is 3 kegs of beer enough?!

Question:

300 people, is 3 kegs of beer enough?

large kegs 16 gallon
and: should all 3 kegs be the same brand of beer or should I mix it up and have different brands?

Answers: 15.5 gallons, and no not if I'm there, more like four kegs. If I did the math right, 3 16 gal. kegs will yield 384 8 oz. cups. I think you should figure on an average of 3 cups per person, so 3 16 gal. kegs are not enough.

I think it's better to have one kind so there won't be hurt feelings when you run out of the favorite. you can never have too much beer ;) There is a thing called B.Y.O.B. yea I would say that is plenty of beer. No i don't think it would be enough.....suggest to your guests they bring backup I went to a party of about 40-50 people with one keg and it was gone in the blink of an eye! NO WAY is that enough. You need to triple that amount. your beer will be gone with the first 30 minutes MAX
