Super lager, tennents super, special brew skol super?!

Question:

Super lager, tennents super, special brew skol super?

ok this stuff cant be brewed like normal lager, how do they make it stronger, always tastes like its bloody distilled rather than brewed, still, lovely stuff tho:) any comments welcome

Answers:
They use lots more grain to produce more sugars (you boil the grain to convert the starch in the grains to produce sugars).
Then a high strength yeast is used to ferment out as much sugar as possible and to convert it to alchohol.

Alchohol is acually yeast poo!

And I think the lagers mentioned taste awful.....if you want to taste a good strong beer, try Gordons Chrsitmas ale, or one of the 12-13% belgium beers

Tennent's Super, Scottish wine.

Funny you should post this, I'm just on my second SB Skol. They add more sugar to it and let it sit longer. My heads losing contact with my fingers though.

its brewed for longer it makes the ABV or alcohol content higher.

Not as good as a proper pint of Beer though

i dont know and i dont care , they taste beautiful
ice cold ,freezer for 20 Min's

Happy hangover

High strength yeast, plus yeast nutrients to keep the yeast working.
