What happened to ZIMA?!

Question:

What happened to ZIMA?

The very favorite at my bed and breakfast, unique in the flavors found typically on the shelf, now, replaced with less than average new flavors and sitting unwanted on shelves everywhere!

Answers:
The genre has evolved to include all malt-based beverages such as Smirnoff Ice, etc.

I used to love Zima back in the day..at one point didn't they have Zima Gold? Simply put, they need to appeal to the juvenile-rainbow flavors of the new drinkers.

zima sucks thats what happened to it

its totally a girls drink or maybe for 15 yr olds

Who knows, lol! I used to love that when I was a teenager Have you ever put skittles in it? It makes it really good but you have to be careful cause it fizzes up a little and eat the skittle after wards they are GREAT!

It was a fad that evolved in to what is called Malternatives. Only a small % of the drinking population drinks malts and they don't drink very many at a time ( mostly because the are young and or women) . I would try for the Smirnoff products or Bacardi myself. If you sell these products at your B&B tell your distributor that you want to sample all available in the Malt catagory and they will help you find something to replace the product. Or you could mix soda water with a little tonic and some vodka to try to make your own. You may just come up with a new hit at your B&B.
