Has anyone tried this "La Cazuela" tequila?
It's some cheap tequila. Has anyone had a shot of it?
I'm a little hesitant on trying it. I could use an opinion.
Answers: For shots, try to drink a "reposado" or "envejesido". This will mean that it was maintained in wooden barrels for a longer period of time thus the taste will be enhanced. Most of the tequila that is drunk in the States in white tequila and that is like pure rubbing alcohol. Good for getting drunk but usually has poor taste and you get a big headache the next day.
Go for some of the older stuff and you will see a significant difference in taste.
I am not sure how La Cazuela is but if it is reposado or envejesido, you should be OK.
