Answers: when it evaporates, it's gone bad. if it's still there it's good. if it is sealed it will last forever the alcohol would act as a preservative ; the vodka would evaporate long before it went bad. keep it stored in a cool dark place. dont pop the cork unless you have to, reseal it, it will last several human lifetimes. It doesn't...the proof of the alcohol is too great...it may slowly disappear due to evaporation...but, won't go bad It should never go bad! Unless its in extreme hot and cold temperatures, it should never go bad, its distilled and fremented never! when you wake up naked on the front lawn, you'll know the vodka has turned on you. Its alcohol and it doesn't go bad even if opened...just may get a Lil dusty if left opened. I vod say ad leaz vive years. some alcohols are purposly not drinken for a long time, because the older they get, their quality changes. Vodka goes bad??

Maybe some things do last forever. Vodka, wonder drink that it is, can last indefinitely. Since liquor like whisky, Scotch and vodka are distilled, and already aged, they won't deteriorate like wine or beer. Just keep it away from bright light, and your vodka will keep forever. It wouldn't last long enough to go bad (not that it could) around me. I don't think that alcohol ever goes bad the way wine does - should still be good to drink. as soon as it has been open...so drink up! some 2000 years...
