Answers: Since it is generally forbidden to enter a pub with your pet, I'd make one where pets are more than welcomed. I'd probably organize a pet corner or something, hire personnel who is trained in dealing with pets and would entertain them or take care of them while the owners are having a drink and chilling out....
As for the theme... I'd probably talk to a designer and ask him for suggestions, taking into account the final purpose of the pub: to serve customers with pets...
Wouldn't that be nice? :) Beach atmosphere....makes you thirsty doesn't it? Cyberpunk, with old computers that do actually work fixed to the walls, people can tinker around on them etc. The Hair of the Dog Traditional, comfortable surroundings, huge open fire, real ales, great home cooked food and a friendly smile!!! I'm thinking it would be a family establishment, The kind of place where you can take the children for a bite to eat without a lot of loud obnoxious drunks. I have 22 dart boards, one snooker table and twenty kinds of English,Scottish,and Irish lagers on tap and pretty bar maid to work the place wearing leaderhosen to cultures i know...like st. puali girl Like a brewery all sexual emotional feelings with nasty music , and strippers.

It would have a 24 hour non-stop flowing beer tap...that would be free. PEOPLE! :D i would make it all about people, put pictures up, tasteful pictures, artsy pictures, but make it about people.. and if you have a bar, at the end of it, put a picture of a lonely guy sitting at a bar, because that's a classic.. if t was up to me, i would make it dark in there, with touches of light here and there, buy battery operated candles and put them up throughout the place.. oh and have diferent music every night...people will figure it out and show up on a specific night for the music, in my city, theres a place where we go every wed because the music creates the best atmosphere... It would be themed just like a "pub". A beer theme.
It should have a long list of good draught and bottled beers from around the world.
It should be decorated with breweriana - beer glasses, trays, mats, towels, etc. Ashtrays - only for decoration.
In fact it should be just like the Delirium Café in Brussels, but without the smoke. Medieval..... lots of rought iron, dark timber, groovy light fittings and art work. A bit of a contradiction in terms but I would serve oriental cuisine. x Antarctic theme... ice.... ice... more ice most everythng should look like ice... have cool lights along with it.. like the aurora borealis Metal/Rock A pub theme. it would have a mushy pea theme Anything but liquor! My pub would be very music orientated with live bands playing in the evenings. It would double as a karaoke pub where people could sing along to the background music using the mic from behind the bar (as I did in Rotterdam a couple of years ago).
My pub would have a wide selection of drinks and a varied menu. Pagan Imagery, such as The Greenman, The goddess & the god, and othe rpre-Xtian gods."Let me bring you songs from the wood, to make you fell much better than you could know...."

A military theme...i.e. The Sergeant's Stripe...Greeman's OP, or my favorite "the Baghdad Drift" ( heavy on military vehicles).
Or I'd call it "Duffy's II" and recreate the bar in An Jung-ri, including the Philipina dancing girls! I would open a 1950's style NYC bar.... there are too many fake Pubs around to try to open another one. it will be an irish pub! Proper, grown-up real ale.
None of that chemical filled La....La....Lag....(sorry, I can't even bring myself to type the word!) or brightly coloured alcopops in my establishment.
Regulars will be able to hold a civil conversation & not have to shout over the musak.
It probably wouldn't make a profit but, hey, who cares? modern, metallic, robots....i am crazy.... COUNTRY PUB WITH GOOD FOOD! Party like is 1999... I would put up old photo's of America's history all around. Anything you can find, they would be great conversation starters and something that everyone thinks they know something about! Oooh, Village People I think it would be hispanic//religion form

i'd have "religion" ...3-4 times a week ... starting @ 11am every other hour until 4am ..saturday we'd have midnight religion...so nothing but shots going on and fire breathing...and sunday would be a relaxed day where we get together and just drink and mingle with others....
i'd have ps2/ps2 competitions (or just random gameplay)
xbobx 360 competitions (or just random gameplay)
DDR ... all kinds of stuff
oh and i would definantely have a collection box
and a suggestion box
