What's a good desert wine?!

Question:

What's a good desert wine?

sweet, but not too sweet

Answers:
The fact is that the desert is too dry. There are no vineyards in the desert probably because you can't grow grapes there.

Northern California has a climate much more suited to the growing of grapes. There are many good California wines as I am sure you are aware.

For dessert however I like a nice Port.
