What is the best way to remove wine labels from bottles of wine?!

Question:

What is the best way to remove wine labels from bottles of wine?

Answers:
Soak in hot water and don't be in a hurry. Just let 'em soak over night.

soak in water

nail polish remover, or lighter fluid, (obviously be careful), or you can buy stuff called Goo Gone, that is for removing adhesives.

soak in hot water.

goo gone, or any cleaner with orange oil in it

With the wine itself!

use some oil, this could help loosen the sticky thing from labels

soak it in any type of water.

soak the bottle in warm water for 1/2 hr and then mop it away with a wet cloth preferrably cotton.

dab water all over the labels and then cover with Glad Wrap or other plastic wrap. Leave to stand for about 20 mins and then peel off! The Glad Wrap basically keeps the water in and allows the label to sweat, thus softening the glue. After you peel it off, just rinse the bottle and you have a nice clean wine bottle!

Place the bottles in COLD water and let them soak. After a few minutes you can easily peel the labels off. Do not place in warm water as this affects the taste of the wine.

I always soaked my beer bottles in hot water so I can remove the labels and use them for bottling my own beer. I've never had a problem, just ensure you give them plenty of soaking time. I've even taken the labels and used them as bar decorations in my house.

Good luck.
