I'm going to South Africa and want to know what are some of the names of the beer there and which one is close to a lite beer in the states

well there is Black label , Lion , amstel, corona there are a few places where u can get some american beers but it is a little higher. Black label or lion is not to bad

also, its a kenyan beer but Tusker is pretty damn good. Not too far off from a "typical" american lager.
