How long are jello shots good for?!

Question:

How long are jello shots good for?

I made some jello shots last year..they have been kept covered and in the fridge the whole time (the fridge they are in is kept really cold-it holds all our alcohol!!!). We are getting ready for the canoe trip and just wondering if they might still be good. There is still a strong alcohol smell, no mold, and they are not liquidy at all...they still look like I just made them yesterday. They were made with jello, 1 cup water, and 1 cup pucker

Answers:
The alcohol can't go bad, the water can't go bad, I guess the only thing that could possibly spoil is the gelatin. If it looks ok and there's no weird discoloration or odor, I'd say they're probably fine. Try a small bite and see if it tastes ok. Have fun!

Well, I suppose you could try one.

Throw em out! Whats wrong with you? Just make some new ones man I mean cmon

dude they are fine, it's basically all alcohol and sugar two of humanities oldest perservatives, eat them

Just try 1 and see...

Lets see...How long are jello shots good for?...Depends on the alcohol content, I mean, if there's a lot of booze in one, it's gonna keep you buzzed for a couple hours, if you have a couple of shots, multiply the buzz factor by the number of shots...ect, ect, ect....

Jello shots are good for about...............three high school chicks...come on man up whilst canoeing...bourbon shots and cigars for the boys....ahhhh livin.
