Can anyone recommend good Scotch for clients?!

Question:

Can anyone recommend good Scotch for clients?

I am willing to apply various whiskeys or wines, just thought Scotch was a great celebration choice. Also, if you recommend something that says "I'm sorry." That's always a good one to know. My clients are typically socially conservative executives.

Answers: I agree with M G, you want to get a single malt.

Scotch whisky can be an acquired taste, though. If you are not sure whether your clients will like it or not, I'd recommend something from the Lowlands or Speyside. They are smoother and easier to drink. Any single malt. Glenlivet single malt scotch. Stay away from blended scotch. The executive types always like a good brandy I just had a friend get back from Scotland and he had 21 year cask strength Glenturret scotch. omg, if you wanna make an impression get that. Thats really hard to get though, so most liquors actually made in Scotland are good.

But here's an idea. I work in sales. How many bottle of alchohol have these conservative execs gotten? If they are religious you've lost points and money. Find out about their kids and get something for them. Sports tickets are also a kicking present. Then you can go with him and drink some scotch together and make the sale. GLENFIDDICH! Chivas Regal is a really good Scotch... a nice single malt scotch from the speyside, or highland region would be a good choice. i'd recommend a macallan 18 year, or 25 year old scotch, depending on your budget. you could also go with a good red cabernet ( silver oak, far niente, nickle & nickle, opus 1, jordan). if they prefer whiskey, i would get a nice single barrel bourbon (basil hayden, baker's, booker's).
