Rum Punch?!

Question:

Rum Punch?

We are having a farewell to summer party and I would love to serve a Rum punch drink instead of the usual Margaritas. Does anyone have a good recipe?

Answers: I got this recipe off of foodnetwork.com and have made it myself. It is guaranteed to please.

1 cup fresh lime juice
2 cups grenadine syrup
2 cups Jamaican white rum
1 cup light rum
2 cups fresh pineapple juice
2 cups fresh orange juice
Pinch freshly grated nutmeg, optional
Orange slices, for garnish
Pineapple slices, for garnish

Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher or punch bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with orange or pineapple slices. RUM APPLE PUNCH

2 (750 ml.) light rum
1 qt. apple juice
Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 c. sugar

Combine all ingredients. Stir and chill. Before serving, pour over ice in punch bowl, add 1 quart ginger ale. Garnish with slices of fruit. Dice cut of some sweet fruits (apple, sweet lime etc.), Orange Juice, Pineapple Jiuce, Lemon Juice. As you are going to do farewell party, Prepare all of it in a large bowl (champagne chiller) mixing everything mentioned above with lots of ice. You can then serve it in a glass floating dark rum and adding tiny bit of grenadine it goes to base. Looks beautiful and tasty!!!

-------------------------
1.5oz dark rum
.5oz grenadine
4oz of above mix
