Do you think a quarter barrel would be enough beer for a party of around 35 people?!

Question:

Do you think a quarter barrel would be enough beer for a party of around 35 people?

Also approx how many beers ( say 12 ounces) are in a quarter barrel?

Answers: Definitely not. A quarter keg will give you about 80 beers @ 12 ounces. And that's if none of it spills. Since you have to let it "run" before you fill the glass, you will have a ton of waste. With a quarter keg, you are going to have a bunch of thirsty people. You need a kegger. At least. No not close. Unless you want them to bring their own as well. No, your going to need a half barrel. Trust me on this, this is one subject I know very well. If there is any left you have breakfast for the morning! A quarter barrell contains 7.75 gallons....the average is about 82.. 12 oz cups of beer for all 35 people to drink that would be about 2 and a half cups a piece. depends on how drunk you wanna get! ive been to parties where 30 or less people kill a whole keg. they say a keg is like 250 beers, so id guess a quarter keg is 65ish if everyone wants more than 2 beers, get more!

more beer > less beer Depends on how much they drink. With my friends, not even close. If you're worried about buying too much, you can always get a 1/4 keg plus several cases of beer. Use the keg first. When that's finished, bring out the cases (make sure to keep them cold beforehand). You'll spend a little more, but at least you can save anything that doesn't get used..... a Pony keg is a quarter barrel. It will serve roughly 82 twelve ounce cups. That would be 2 cups per person with some spare
or 3 8 oz cups with some spare.
It may be enough if you are having soft drinks as well. Pony Keg was good for just 6 of us...But then we drank like we were sponges! Glory Days...
Any way you should be okay with what you have. The correct answer:

Oh HELL NO. NNNOOO!!! Nope, get a 1/2 bbl (15gal) and you should be good, unless your friends are serious drinkers... No way! Not even close. You should get at least a full barrel. I'd probably get two or three for my friends. LOL
