Precautionary word: "British" fags you buy in normal shops in Europe may not be the same blend of tobacco you are used to. Some cigarette firms change the blend to suite the different palettes. I haven't smoked for years but I remember B&H, to name just one, were never the same.
Buying in one of the French "booze cruise" markets or duty free shops is usually ok because they import our blend specifically to sell them back to Brits.
