New to cigar smoking...?!

Question:

New to cigar smoking...?

What are some premium brands you would recommend?

Answers:
Before I give my recommendations, let me free you up from the Yahoo Doctors; cancer, smoking is bad and gonna kill you blah, blah, blah! We know dammit! Anything available to humans can kill us.

I recommend a newbie start with Helix, Macanudo, or La Unica. These cigars are extremely mild and you can work your way up from there. Don't be coerced into thinking more expensive is better with regards to cigars, because that is simply not true. Price does not dictate quality, your pallet does. I recommend you read Cigar Aficionado or Cigar Insider magazine as they offer great description and ratings of cigars.

Stay away from full bodied as there harshness may turn you off. Don't by expensive cutters or lighters until you know for sure this is something you will stick with. Do however by triple refined fluid for your lighters since it is cleaner and will make your lighter function much better with less clogging.

If you do want to walk on the wild side, try CAO "Brazilia", Arturo Fuente (Hemiway Series), Partagas, Hoyo De Monterey "Excalibur", Onyx, etc... If you have to do flavored cigars I would go for the CAO line of flavors.

Good luck!

none. They all cause cancer and taking up smoking is stupid!!

I wouldn't recommend ANY. Don't you know smoking is bad for you????

NOOONE.
don't pay to get cancer.

I enjoy "My Way" by Felipe. It was a cigar originally comissioned by Frank Sinatra and they now sell it to the public.

I also like the "Kahlua" by Drew Estates. The cigar has hints of the actual drink.

remember to heat your cigars before smoking.
