How do u 'spike' apple cider?!

Question:

How do u 'spike' apple cider?

i.e: what type of alcohol goes best with it?

Answers: 2 gallons apple cider
1 750 ml bottle of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum If you drink "hard" cider you don't need to spike it with anything. just let it turn Jack Daniels---"Apple Jack" There is an apple flavored liqueure like Berentzen Apple Liqueur. If you cant find that maybe some rum would be nice, I use it to flavor my apple pie and it gets rave reviews. I would stay away from any fake apple flavorings like pucker. choclate syrup spiced rum works the best. and for all those people saying just let it turn, don't do it. it turns into vinegar not alcohol. you can make a hot spiced cider with one part rum, to 3 parts heated cider, throw in a couple of cloves and you have a great autumn drink. it just screams hayride. typically bourbon (i,.e. Jack Daniels or Jim Beam) or brandy. Make your own
here is one
http://www.thebeveragepeople.com... If you make a hot, mulled cider, throw in a splash of ginger brandy when serving. spiced rum cloves and a li cinnamon cinnamon or butterscotch schnapps wouldn't be bad You could also use Calvados. It is a spirit made from apples. Boulard is the most common brand. They make hard cider - otherwise, I would recommend Spiced Rum, like Captain's. I can't think of much else that would taste right in it.
Hope that helps! What ever you feel like spiking it with. It is all a matter of taste.
