How long would an opened bottle of white wine last in a refrigerator?!

Question:

How long would an opened bottle of white wine last in a refrigerator?

Answers: http://www.thewinedoctor.com/advisory/bu... Recork it and it should last for at least a month...Or maybe even longer.. I've had them last for a long time before they start to taste bad... if you leave the cap off it will still be good but not great. If you keep the cork on it will never go bad. For drinking purposes, try not to exceed a week Up to a day for most whites without a vacuum stopper, or maybe two with one. If you think your wine tastes good after a six months, then it's fine for a six months! There's nothing that's going to change the wine change in a way that would make it harmful, so it's really a matter of taste. If you want it to taste exactly the way the wine maker intended, then it should be finished in a couple of hours. I don't like mine longer than a day or two. I will, however, use it in cooking for a month or so. For me it wouldn't.

Even though it would probably be gone. Once wine is open, all wine will change, especially white wine, it will loose it's orginal taste. There are lots of methods to prevent this, but none are prefect, and it will deteriate even after a few hours.

Basically it last as long as you are still happy drinking it. It really varies by person.

I would never serve anyone wine that was in my fridge from yesterday. Regardless of how it was stoppered. If you open it and drink it a month later it won't make you sick. But after a day or two it will be flat and have an after taste. yep no longer than 2 days No more then 4 or 5 days.
