What's the best low carb. dark beer?!

Question:

What's the best low carb. dark beer?

Answers: micholob ultra amber! i've heard draft guinness is ok. this article explains further: you're not really going to find that.. the heartier the beer the more the carbs.. all beers in general are harbengers of high triglycerides....

guinness is good, one of the better... but they're a carb prone delight!

i did a tiny bit of research and no... they all compete rather well.. want lower carbs, drink the lite beers but you also lose flavor.

:D

i say stick with guinness... their stout or drought. Wow, I surprised others actually mentioned Guinness...

"Guinness only contains 198 calories (838 kilojoules) per imperial pint (20oz UK) (1460 kJ/L), fewer than an equal-sized serving of skimmed milk or orange juice and most other non-light beers."

and...

"Food Item: Guinness Stout Beer
Food Quantity: 12 fl oz
Carbs: 20g
Dietary Fiber: 0g
Net Carbs: 20g"

Most people think it contains huge amouts of Carbs and Calories. 20 is pretty big but not as bad as one would think. The wiki page I've link to is a great source. Check out the third link below, it is informative about overall carbs in beers. Happy drinking!
