How many shots (normal sized) of tequila does it take for your blood alcohol level to be over. 08? For an averaged sized female.

Additional Details: 4.0 supposedly you'd be on your death bed, from alcohol poisoning. I have a friend who's blood alcohol was 3.3 after three hours & the doctor was amazed she could still talk. But then again she an alcoholic & has been for years. Source(s):
