Answers: good old stella everyone knows that.......... Yeah I call Stella wifebeater too. I also call it a pint of Nelson. Nelson Mandela=Stella! Yep it's a stella Nah, I was thinking they'd give you a t-shirt. it still gets called that in scotland mate yes that what i call stella 2 A wife beater is a tank top. Dumb ***. Never heard that expression, we have a friend that used to drink Stella, he just went to pieces and all silly, he has stopped drinking it now, thank goodness we have our lovely friend back with us.. and he remembers our lovely times together.. we still have drinks together and he is just a lovely person to be with, drunk or sober.. He never beat his wife though, if he tried that, he would come off worse..*g*
BTW I always heard the expression that it was 'headache in a glass' I had never heard that phrase.

But I have heard of a "Mexican wife-beater" drink which goes like this:
