I need help finding a fantasic wine,cheese,crackers that go with smoked oysters. This has to be exceptional as it will be gift for my boss. Thanks.
Additional Detail: I've never drank wine so will leave it up to all of you.
Answers: Domaine Thomas et Fils, Sancerre (Loire Valley, France) 'Clos de la Crele' 2005 if your boss doesn't hate the French. Would pair nicely with most all cheeses and raw oysters.($32)
Villa Maria Estate Clifford Bay Reserve 2002 Would go with any preperation of oysters but has no real impressive wine recognition ($25)
Roederer Cristal ($180) This is only if you are bucking for a promotion or your boss is a hip-hop producer!
I'm not a cheese guy but I likes me wines! I must say I don't like smoked oysters but eat them fresh, but the wine should be a white.
I would go to a reputable shop and ask their advice.
