What is the best tequila to drink?!

Question:

What is the best tequila to drink?

Answers:
First of all, don't even consider one that isn't 100% agave. Then decide what your goal is. Margarita? Shot? Quantity or quality?

The best tequila I have ever tasted is Herradura Selecion Suprema, but at $30 a shot (or more) you are not going to drink that all the time.

You also don't want to waste an anejo (heavily aged) tequila on a margarita - those are better sipped.

If you absolutely must slam a shot, make it a blanco, as anything else is a waste.

For a really good margarita, go for a reposado like Centilla, Don Julio, Patron or Dos Lunas.

Avoid most versions of Cuervo at all costs (except their Tradicional & Reserva de la Familia).

I like Patron Silver

The better tequila's are Reposado. then which ever one you like the taste of.

the one that is in your hand

J. Cuervo 1800 reposado
and
Patron Silver

I prefer just Jose Cuervo (cause it's not too expensive). But as far as expensive Tequila goes I like Patron.

definitely patron silver- it is so smooth that it almost tastes like whiskey- none of the nasty sour flavor that cheap tequilas have.

Sauza Hornitos is awesome.

Patron
Sauza
Hornitos
Cuervo Conmemorativo
Jose Cuervo reserva de la Familia(this is the best)
don't forget lime,salt,and sangrita
mmmmmmmmmmm q rico salud

Cuervo 1800

Don Julio (top shelf all the way)
with no training wheels (lime and salt)

Sauza Hornitos is a very good lower priced tequila, Patron Silver is great for margaritas or shots. The reposados and anejos are better for sipping or shooting, but get wasted in a margarita. Most Cuervo is pretty bad, however the Cuervo Reserva is very good to sip. If you are making margaritas your second liquor (Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec) and your lime mix are very important to get a good flavor. Make your own sweet n sour using fresh lime & simple syrup.

Cabo Wabo! mmmmm boy!

Patron Silver...definitely!
