How long will crushed malted barley keep good?
i'm using malted barley for making beer but i'm not sure how long i can keep it before it turns bad?

I've found that it has been OK for up to 2 years as long as it has been stored cool, dry and in an airtight bag. The worst that is likely to happen is that you need to use a bit more to get your desired extract.

I've been a home brewer for a long time.
I would give it one month at best provided it's kept in a dark dry place in a sealed container.
use it as soon as you can.....you only want to mill your grains right before you mash.
