Whilst not all wine is Champagne the fact remains that all Champagne is indeed wine.
This means I can say wine and have it all :-)

Strange alternative -

Champagne is served out of the meal time in parties, cocktails etc

The mood in France is to serve it as an apéritif and it's great .

But usually it is not good to serve it WITH courses -

Wine white or red is to be served during the meals - to drink wine out of the meals is barbarian
