It depends on what it's for, mixing, drinking it straight, blah blah... personally, I like rum. I don't do whiskey any more because it burns when it comes back up, lol, and that's a hard thing to get out of your head.

in my case i get extremely argumentive and violent on vodka so ive learned to keep well away, i havnt drank rum for a long time so it has to be whiskey, i regularly drink whiskey and being scottish also sways my choice.
