It takes roughly 1 hour for your body to rid alcohol from its system for the following:

1 oz. Liquor

4 oz. Wine

12 oz. Beer

The safest amount of time to wait is until the alcohol is completely out of your system. Remember that when you are at your friends house or a bar a liquor drink is not going to be 1 oz., as most bars consider a shot to be 1.5-2 oz. Thus, each drink takes 90-120 minutes to be vacated from your system...Also, if you are drinking pints of beer, they are 16 oz.; so, 1 beer is 1.3 hours to remove the alcohol from the system...
1 hour for every beer or shot
You shouldn't even after one drink. Even one drink impairs your ability and reflexes.
According to the liqour licensing commission you should wait at least 1 hour for every drink consumed. This may vary depending on weight a small woman may take more time than the average weight man.
DONT DRINK AT ALL.
GIVE SOMEONE YOUR KEYS AND GET A TAXI.
IT'S ALWAYS THE OTHER PERSON WHO GETS HURT OR KILLED.
PALADIN
1h for beer, 2 or 2:30h for spirits, better don't drink if you drive to the party...
Mick is right, however...

Just don't. If you're in doubt, stay where you are or call a cab please. It's for your safety and the safety of others.

Trust me, a $20.00 cab ride is tonnns cheaper than getting a DUI!!!
i would say after a nice nap or after 24hr just to be safe.
I would say for those symptoms, at least 3 hours. However, if you want to be certain, just buy a breathalyser from Wal-Mart for $10 or $20...
I HOUR FOR EVERY OUNCE OF LIQUOR CONSUMED..BUT THAT IS ONLY AFTER U STOP DRINKING COMPLETELY
I KNOW A BUNCH OF REALLY STUPID PEOPLE WHO THINK IF THEY CONSUME FIVE DRINKS ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THEY ONLY HAVE TO WAIT ONE HOUR BEFORE THEY LEAVE.
DOESNT WORK THAT WAY, SO UNLESS U WANT TO WAIT FIVE HOURS IN A BAR FOR IT TO LEAVE UR SYSTEM, DON'T DRINK SO MUCH WHEN U ARE OUT.
Do not drink and drive. It's not worth it any more. Getting caught is bad enough, especially if the cops find alcohol to be a contributing factor, but if you wreck and hurt or kill someone, you'll never live it down. Neither will your insurance rates and job applications.

Walk to the bar, take a cab / train, or have a house party.
