They were last on sale in 2003 and now cadburys have brought them back from retirement as from this month.
Mmmmmm wispa I havent seen them for ages
They changed the name, they're now called Dairy Milk Bubbly. They're not exactly the same, Wispa's were chunkier and these are just like a bar of Dairy Milk ( as you might expect lol) but they are basically the same.
wispas were just the same as aeros with smaller bubbles.
Not sure if you're right magenta. Local sweetie shops have wispas a plenty. If magenta is right then they are older stock but they don't look like it.
they are making a come back, cadbury are using an punch line of 'some things were better left in the 80's, others are not!!' i believe they did go outa production but im not certain, they are yummy so im glad to see them back!
Cadburys Wispa Bars were first produced in 1981. They were a chocolate bar with air bubbles in it (like an Aero but from Cadburys). Original Wispa bars came in a distinctive blue packaging with bold red letters. The Wispa product range included the original milk chocolate bar and Wispa Gold, Wispa Mint and Wispa Bite. They disappeared off the face of the earth in august 2003 and were replaced by the Dairy Milk Bubbly, which might I add is nowhere near as nice. Why did Cadburys take away our beloved Wispa bar? We will never know.
The guy above is right, they have indeed re-launched the Wispa bar.

Apparently Netto have also been stocking them. They should never have stopped selling them!! Can't believe it though, the one I saw was 52p!!! I remember them being 15p (or something like that!!)......
BTW...they were last sold officially in 2003!
i heard they were going to bring them back oo i used to love them lol xx
Good News indeed ! Heard on the radio today ,Wed 10th Oct. Cadburys are to reintroduce Whispa bar as a result of many letters and an on line petition,
Don't think so. I see them in local supermarkets, but no telling how long they've been on the shelf.
