If you are applying for a job as a hotel bartender what should you wear?!

Question:

If you are applying for a job as a hotel bartender what should you wear?

A suit , or something casual like jeans and sneakers with a blazer, or perhaps a vest over a t shirt?? what would you recommend?

Answers:
Nice button up shirt and some kakhi's or slacks should be fine. No jeans or sneakers, and the suit would be a little overkill

it for me would depend if it was an upscale place..than i would dress more upscale..suit pants and nice collar shirt..if just for a regular hotel bar..black jeans..tee and blazer would be fine..tennis shoes are nice on the job..but i would wear a better choice of shoe for the interveiw..good luck

Make a good first impression and wear Dress Pants and a Collared shirt with Shoes not sneakers.

Good Luck =)

go for the casual, with a button up shirt, tukec in, you want to appear clean and neat for a job interview.

jeans and a shirt

One of those t-shirts that looks like a tuxedo and spandex pants. Hotel folks can't resist tight spandex.

The general rule of thumb is: see what the regular job requires for you to wear and go one step up.

So if it's a vest, throw on a jacket along with some nice pants. If it's jeans, then dressy casual works well like a button down blouse and khakis.

Proper attire would be white button up shirt and black pants.
That's the uniform for most bartenders in hotels and restaurants. Good luck!

Don't wear anything. It's hot.

Hey! Scooby Do!!! A suit would be nice because then you could arrange to wear anything after that.. You want to make a good impression on the interview about how conservative you are. Then you could dazzle them later about how you would rather dress. For the young girls there or if you want to work there and not get anything spilled on you and accidents do happen then you could wear something more casual like jeans and a t-shirt.

as a hotel bartender you need to dress according to what type of hotel it is. IF upscale u need to go for the dresspants and shirt/tie....I would suggest seeing what the status of the hotel is.....definately never sneakers and jeans* no matter what type of hotel it is....GOODLUCK*

I am an F&B Director at a large hotel. A clean pressed shirt and tie, slacks and nice shoes are fine. Take a pen with your and another copy of your resume.

For the application/ interview, white button-down shirt and tie, sport jacket, dressy pants, or suit. For work, they will tell you.
