Went out for a meal tonight, had half bottle of red wine. Stopped off at local coffee bar and had coffee and brandy. Wonderful to be retired and living in Spain.

Mine was Ouzo (spelling?!) at my engagement do, 16 years ago last July. I sometimes have enough Strongbow to get the tip of my tongue wet, just because I like the taste. I don't drink alcohol.

Last Friday (October 5) I celebrated my next door neighbor's birthday with her and had a beer. Prior to that I had a couple of glasses of wine at a wedding on September 17.

Last night I had a few hard cider drinks. Not to many people in America consume this wonderfully tasting beverage anymore. Not sure why. Hard Cider is one of the best drinks a man could ask for.
