sour or bitter or dry
a little bitter, but goes great with Orange Juice
People always told me that it was horrible. I bought a cheap one from Wal*Mart, Andre Brut---I thought it was good. If you want it to taste better, add some lemon zest to it, or you can mix it with pomegranate juice.
It's like dry white wine with the fizziness (?) of soda water.

It's bubbly wine. So imagine wine that's infused with bubbles, like soda pop is.
Well champagne or brut is dry. It's a bit bitter, and not very sweet.
Spumanti is an american sparkling wine made in the italian tradition. It is lighter on the alcohol, and much sweeter. It is similar to asti spumanti only not as good.
The best champagne costs a bit, but it's well worth it. I love champagne.
