I love ouzo. Do you love it too? How do you like to drink it?!

Question: Ouzo - the Greek anise spirit - is so yummy. It's my all time fave, especially in summer. It never gives me a hangover, either. But every time I buy a bottle from the bottlo it's covered in dust... so I guess it's not very popular. I love it with tonic water and/or lemon. The bitter edge so finely compliments the fresh licorice-tasting sweetness. Tonight I'm having it with ginger ale... it's OK. Maybe a spritz of soda and cranberry juice would be good.
Are there any cocktail recipes with ouzo?
:)

I used to love it until I drank to much one night, since then I have never touched it. Ouzo and Pepsi is what I used to drink with plenty of ice. Yes there are many cocktails that use Ouzo.
One that I liked was equal parts of Dry Cinzanno and Ouzo in a tall glass and fill with 1/2 Soda water and 1/2 Lemonade.
Very refreshing on a hot day.
Ouzo is very nice with fish meze....near the sea....in a greek island ;)
Gag me with a spoon... Absinthe, pernod, and ouzo. I rather be thirsty.
Just drink it chilled on the rocks, it turns this wierd milky color but its kinda cool. I went to Santorini on break while I was studying in London and that is what some greek guy told me. Also if your drinking with some one who doesnt like that strong after taste u get, tell them to use a glass of water for a chaser. Works the best.
I love it. Much better than the super sweet italian stuff.
I find it best with just a a little dribble of cold water to turn it cloudy, and ice water on the side.
Brings me back to my honeymoon in santorini, over looking the sea from the balcony way up on the cliff edge. Such fond memories!
