Which wine has a really smooth taste that doesn't taste so bitter?!

Question: I'd recommend you try a Riesling such as:

Leasingham 2004 Magnus Riesling - White WinePale yellow in colour with green hues and brilliant clarity, the Leasingham Magnus Riesling has intense floral aromas of jasmine and citrus blossom with fresh pineapple and spice. The palate has refreshing lemon and lime characters with fleshy fruit sweetness and mouthwatering acidity. The finish is fresh and lively with good persistence. ($10.49)

By bitter you probably mean tannins, especially if you are talking about red wine.

Wine is something you have to learn what you like and go with that. Don't let others tell you what is good. I personally love tannis, but a lot of people don't.

What you want to do is look for a wine description that says it is low in tannis. Almost any white or blush wine is. Red wine is left in contact with the skins a lot longer and that is where the tannins come from mostly. But you will find reds that are low in tannins as well. You just have to try it.
Pinot grigio or reisling
A Reisling or a Gwurtzraminer are pretty smooth and on the sweater side.
A good oak barreled chardonay is usually smooth.
JON NY WALKER, HEN NESSY,
Try a merlot from California, or a light beaujolais from France
If you want a red, try a pino noir by Cartlidge & Brown or La Crema. Both are very reasonable priced. A Reisling is a very good white wine to start with, Robert Mondavi and Luis Guntrum are a couple of nice ones to try. And one more good white to try is Caymus Condrum. It is a meratige of different blends of grapes. It has many different levels of taste even a beginner can pick out.
Try Cold Duck, it's a sweet wine.
Boones Farm! It doesn't even taste like wine, But the bottle says it is... The finest of screw off caps so you can save some for later. I mean come on who else makes carbonated wine? And at the price its almost as cheep as a 40! How can you beat that
it's the tannin. request a "dry" red wine
