How long do you think you will live if you are an alcoholic?!
My "bestest" friend in the whole world was an alcoholic. When my niece met KJ she said, " I don't think you to are lovers, but you seems so close." KJ smiled the way only she could and replied, "We are identical twins, only he is a guy."
We were identical in most ways, but I am not an alcoholic.
She died at 42 due to alcohol. Can you tell how much her friendship meant to me?
Answers: It probably really depends on genetics. I have known alcoholics who lived well into their 80's.... but maybe they would have lived into the 100's if they didn't drink.

not long
until you die
depends how easy it is to get alcohol
If you drink tons lets jst say not as long as u wuld like =]
If u have an oocasional drink a week ur good.
Totally depends on the person and the amount and types of alcohol that are consumed. I know alcoholics that show no sign of liver failure but I also know of people that have died of liver failure in their late thirties.
Depends on your age, how much you drink, how well your immune system is, it depends on if you are taking care of your self (eating right, exercising, regular doctors visits)
don't know. definitely shorter than if i wasn't in most cases.
if you stop before it's too late your liver will repair itself.
getting pickled will make you last forever baby
65-70
Probably not really long but you'll have a good time while you're here!
My father is drinking his life away in Laredo, TX...just turned 81, and has been going at it for a good 60 years.
Of course, he doesn't remember the names of my mom, my sister and me...and he didn't recognize me when I saw him 7 years ago. But there's a pulse.
My great grandma is in her 90's and has been a severe alcoholic for like 50 years. My grandpa says she is pickeled. I think it depends on the person and how fast your liver shuts down.
well alcohol makes you at wich leads to diabetes and crap
or you can drink so much kill all of your brian cells and die
yeah not to long
i think about 20 years less than what ur were gonna live without being alcoholic
Long enough to get another drink for most!
No longer for those in the last stages!
Longevity is not affected by alcoholism but brain functions are. Senile dementia, Parkinson's Disease and strokes are known to be linked to alcohol abuse. Princess Margaret was reduced by a stroke to a vegetative state for years before she died, partly due to her excessive partying.
Im almost 40 and still alive..but been sober for 2 years..I know many people in AA in their 50,60 and older
very long. my uncle is an alcoholic.he's 67 year old.been drinking for 40 years..doctor said if he stop drinking he going to die because his liver is adapt to the booze
I don't know... but my dad is 52 and he's an alcoholic.. the doctors have been telling him he's drinking himself to death since he was in his early twenties...
My uncle Jim was an alcoholic...a beer-a-holic...drank at least a case a day I guess.
That's a lot of beer!
He had cirrhosis of the liver and quit drinking. He went on meds, and ate healthy, and lived a clean life, and lived about 10 to 15 more years past the point docs told him he would die.
He was never the same though. He became very bitter and had little patience for people in the last years of his life. He always thought people were out to take something from him like his money.
When he was younger, before he got really bad as an alcholic, he was a fun guy. I have lots of good memories of him before he drank himself to death.
WC Fields was 66.
Depends on how often and how much.
Some kids die from alcohol poisoning from one night of beer bongs, George Burns & Bob Hope drank often and were both over 100!
Until your liver hardens.
depends. what do you drink? how heavy do you drink? do you drive drunk? do you try be healthy in other area of your life?
really there is no definitive answer, but being an alcoholic is not really living so it is a trick question.
Who is your insurance company?
that's such a wrong question i guess!are you alcoholic?
Most people i have heard of las about fifteen or twenty years through severe alcoholism. Then your body just breaks down.
until you die!
i'll live forever.
