as long as the open container is in the back cabin of hired limo it is legal.
as for hired party buses if they don't have a divider the open container must be behind the driver at all time that also means no open containers at the passenger seat next to the driver.

Most limo companies reserve the right to cancel your reservation or trip if the drinking is interfering with the safe operation of the vehicle or causing being rude to the driver.
